Junya Watanabe launched his eponymous line in conjunction with Comme des Garcons in 1993 after working as a designer for the brand prior. Watanabe's designs reference punk and romantic aesthetics and the method of deconstruction. The Filson Wool Twill Garment Dyed Jacket blends workwear utility with the designer’s refined, textural approach. The wool twill has a dense, structured hand, while the garment-dyed finish gives it a worn-in depth that feels both rugged and elevated.
